To create freeze-dried Sour Gummy Worms, the Sour Gummy Worms are then placed in a vacuum chamber, where the water within the candies sublimates directly from solid to gas without passing through the liquid phase. This process leaves behind a porous and crunchy texture.

The end result is a crunchy and lot larger version of Sour Gummy Worm with intense flavor. Freeze-dried candy retains its original colors, making them visually appealing and a lot larger than the original candy.
